Leveling Guide
This guide lists good places to level at each level range on WeeklyRO. It was put together from the server's own monster spawns and EXP values at 50x. The best spots are maps with many monsters a few levels above you, which the Renewal level rules reward (see Level difference).
Quick tips
- Hunt monsters 3–15 levels above you. They give up to 140% EXP. Monsters 16+ levels above give only 40%, and monsters far below you give almost nothing.
- Check the Weekly Bonus with
@weeklybonus. The featured dungeon gives +50% EXP all week. If it fits your level, go there. - Use your Battle Manuals (+50% EXP for 30 minutes) from the starter kit during long sessions.
- Party up. Every extra player hitting the same monster adds 25% EXP to it.
- Use the right element. The monster lists below show each monster's element. Hitting a weakness can double your damage, for example Fire against Earth monsters.
- Do Eden Group missions for levels 11–140. Take a mission board quest at the Eden Group headquarters (Warper → Special Areas → Eden Group Headquarters) and get extra EXP for monsters you're hunting anyway. Quest EXP is 25x.
- Turn on
@autolootand use the free Healer buffs before you leave town.

Notes by range
- 1–30
- At 50x these levels go by in minutes. Kill whatever is nearby; Novices reach job level 10 almost at once. Get your 1st job early (see Job Changes).
- 30–60
- Anthell and the Comodo/Payon fields are packed with Earth monsters, so bring a Fire weapon or Fire spells. The Orc field (Geffen Field 10) is popular because the Orcs come in large groups.
- 60–90
- Sphinx and the Clock Tower are good indoor spots. Dewata Dungeon 2 is all Fire monsters: use Water.
- 90–120
- Magma Dungeon is Fire (use Water). Juperos has robots of every element, so bring a Neutral attack or a weapon you can switch.
- 120–150
- Thor's Volcano and Manuk are strong solo spots. Bio Lab 3 and 4 give huge EXP but the monsters hit very hard and use player skills. Go with a party or a tanky build.
- 150–200
- Varmundt's Mansion maps (Lost Farm Valley, Library, Tartaros Storage, Power Plants) and the Rudus Dungeon are the main areas. Monsters here have 0.5–3 million HP, so a geared 3rd or 4th job is needed. Tomb of the Fallen is a nightmare version of Bio Lab: only go with a strong party.
Level 200 and beyond
You can change to your 4th job at base level 200 / job level 70, and 4th jobs go up to base level 275.
Be aware: the strongest monsters on WeeklyRO right now are about level 195 (2nd Power Plant). Because of the level difference rule, they give less and less EXP as you get further above them:
| Your level | EXP per kill in the 2nd Power Plant | Kills per level (about) |
|---|---|---|
| 200 | ~9.4 million | 70 |
| 210 | ~8.4 million | 80 |
| 220 | ~3.5 million | 230 |
| 225 | ~1 million | 1,500 |
| 230 | ~1 million | 3,000 |
In practice, levels 200–220 go at a steady pace. Above that, progress becomes very slow until higher-level content is added. Your stats, gear and 4th-job skills matter more than the last few levels.
